The REACH|Repository provides a hierarchical navigation through the various knowledge components within the EA content.

At the top level, separation is made between:

  • Artefacts
  • Deliverables
  • The Enterprise Continuum
  • Resource Base

Each section is further broken down, to facilitate navigation (e.g. into separate artefact types (services, actors, roles, etc.) within which are stored the individual instances of these EA artefacts.

The instances themselves are created in a number of ways:

  • Manually
  • Automatically, as the result of a pre-defined task-step
  • Automatically, as the result of a pre-defined rule (e.g. an Impact Assessment document is automatically created whenever a new project is launched)
